What is an AI voice announcer?
It's a synthetic voice — made with artificial intelligence — that reads what you type out loud, with natural intonation. Today's neural voices sound far more human than the robotic voices of the past.
How it works in URBBOR DJ
- Type the announcement: “Happy 15th birthday, Ana!”, “2-for-1 beers until 10”.
- Pick one of the Mexican-Spanish neural voices and a style: booth, news, friendly, upbeat or party.
- The announcer says it and the music ducks automatically while it talks, then comes back up.
Optional: AI rewrites your text like a radio host using your own Groq, OpenAI or OpenRouter key. You type the idea and get a polished announcement.
Ideas for using it
- Parties and quinceañeras: grand entrance, toasts, waltz and shout-outs.
- Bars and restaurants: promos, happy hour, last call.
- Events: schedule notices, raffles, sponsor thank-yous.
- Audience shout-outs: “Va para” messages appear on the audience screen next to the song-request QR code.
It's all in the recording
With REC, URBBOR DJ records the full mix — music, effects, mic and announcer — so you can share your set or use it as a demo.
